Pheladi Rachel Mangwale is a passionate educator from Limpopo, South Africa. She is a founder of Being An Educator, a digital brand that provides reading services, shares teaching and reading strategies online. She discovered her love for teaching at an early age and made it her mission to inspire others to love the teaching profession. She engages with parents, teachers, student teachers and aspiring teachers across social media platforms with a large following of over 100 000 giving education related advice in and outside South Africa. She is a digital entrepreneur, education content creator, author, mentor, and a reading coach. She was honoured as one of the 2023 Sunday World Unsung heroes for working towards improving and innovating our country’s growth and development. She has a non-profit organisation that donates to the less privileged. Amongst her other success stories, she received a national teacher's award (NTA) in Information Computer Technology (ICT) in the category of enhanced, teaching and learning. She also received an award for 100% performance in English First Additional Language. Her passion for literacy encouraged her to pursue post-graduate studies in language education and ICT.
